Welcome to Gardening World Limited, your friendly local independent garden centre in Kent. If you enjoy gardening, you will love our Garden Centre.

We are open seven days a week, all year round and we have an enormous range of plants, trees and shrubs set across our large 4-acre site.

You will also find a wonderful selection of pots, hanging baskets and African crafts.

We are all keen gardeners ourselves here at Gardening World Limited, so if you need any help or assistance choosing the right plants for your garden, we would love to help.

Bedding Plants & Perennials

We grow an exciting selection of bedding plants and perennials, and are always adding new varieties. Plants are available in individual pots or in readymade hanging baskets and planted containers. When spring arrives, you'll be able to walk around our half acre bedding greenhouse and see where we grow thousands of bedding plants.

Trees, Shrubs & Roses

Are you looking for trees for your garden? Our garden centre in Kent has a designated section where you'll be able to look around for the perfect specimen for your garden.

During the summer you'll be able to see and smell our delightful selection of roses - Perfect as a gift for someone special!

Pots and More Pots

We have a vast array of pots which are kept under-cover to ensure that they are always in excellent condition. Whether you need a small terracotta pot or some extra-large glazed pots, we'll help you find the perfect container for your garden.

African Craft Centre

If you would like to give your home a unique twist, take a look our collection of West African carvings, the largest of its kind in the UK! From authentic masks to handcrafted artefacts, you'll find something truly special from our collection.

Garden Centre Tearoom

Sit down with a hot drink and a slice of cake at the Daisy Chain Light Bites – A self-service tearoom with a great selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones and sausages rolls. Open daily between 10am and 4pm. Our Daisy Chain Light Bites is closed each winter, from November through to mid March.

Where can you find us?

Gardening World Limited sits just off the A2 (London Road) on the Rainham side of Newington, near Sittingbourne. Turn into Lower Hartlip Road at the junction next to the Tuck Inn café. Our entrance is approximately 100 yards along the road on the left-hand side.

You can't miss us – Just look out for the very large pond in the middle of our car park!

Spring is the time to plant up some colourful pots, baskets, planters and borders for a colourful garden all summer long!

Get inspired with our Rose Courtyard!

Restocked every Spring with over a thousand roses, the Rose Courtyard boasts hybrid tea roses, floribunda roses, patio roses, standard roses, climbing roses and more. It looks and smells truly wonderful when they flower in the summer!

Looking for something for an upcoming birthday or anniversary? Our celebration range of roses make lovely gifts for any occasion.

Make a statement with trees and shrubs

Our garden centre in Kent boasts an acre-sized growing area dedicated to our stock of trees and shrubs, so you can walk around and decide what is right for your garden.

We offer a stunning variety from acers to yews to architectural statement shrubs and younger versions, all suitable for our local growing conditions.
